Refund/Cancellation Policy
At DoctorCertify.com, we strive to provide the best possible service to our users. But we know that sometimes a refund or cancellation is needed. Please review our policy below to understand the terms under which we offer refunds and cancellations.
Refund Policy
We provide refunds in the following cases:
- Underage Users: If a user under the age of 18 applies without the knowledge of a caretaker and the doctor consultation has not yet taken place,
- Incomplete Medical Information: Notify our team before the doctor’s consultation if the correct medical history or current medical records of the ailment are unavailable.
- Invalid Complaints: If our health team finds the user’s complaints to be invalid,.
- Frequent Certificate Requests: If a user requests a certificate more than five times without receiving treatment for the ailment,.
- Specific Use Cases: The certificate may be required for the regularization of insurance claims, the regularization of government employee duties, or in a medico-legal case.
- Doctor No Show: If the doctor has not contacted the user.
Notes on Charges:
Indian Medical Certificates: A charge of INR 199 will be levied on refundable document formats. Form 1A will incur a charge of INR 250. For non-refundable document formats or standalone online doctor consultations, refunds are not available.
International Medical Certificates: A charge of $5 will be applied to refundable document formats. For non-refundable document formats, there are no refunds available.
Non-refundable Services: No refunds or edits will be made to non-refundable services.
Non-Refundable Situations:
We won’t issue refunds in the following situations:
- The user has chosen a non-refundable product.
- The user is unwilling to attend an online doctor consultation.
- The user has booked a standalone online doctor consultation.
- The user does not attend the online appointment and fails to cancel at least 60 minutes before the appointment time.
- The doctor has attempted to call the user three times, but with no success.
- We have already issued the medical certificate.
- The user’s illness claims are found to be incorrect or illegal.
- The user misrepresents their own medical condition, both in the form and during the consultation.
- The user fails to provide supporting documents for their illness after the consultation.
- After attending a doctor consultation, the user wishes to cancel their order.
- The user does not respond to calls or emails from our support team for more than seven days after booking their order.
Database and Case Management:
We retain non-responsive cases for a maximum of seven days. If a user fails to confirm their product within this timeframe, we close the case and delete the details.
Closed serviced cases are retained for a maximum of 15 days. After this period, we cannot process any additional service requests.
Doctor’s discretion:
The doctor will not issue a refund if the case does not warrant the issuance of a medical certificate. The charges paid cover the facilitation of the consultation and the doctor’s fees, which do not guarantee the issuance of a certificate.
Refund Process:
Please email us at care@doctorcertify.com with the necessary details of your case, including the invoice our company sent. We will respond to all refund requests within 72 working hours (Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm). If eligible, refunds will be processed in the user’s original mode of payment, with processing times varying depending on the payment gateway policies.
